Our Discipleship Strategy
Making Fully Engaged Disciples
We believe that God not only wants you to know Him personally but desires to see you grow in your love for Him. While many people affirm that a believer in Jesus Christ needs to grow, sometimes the process is unclear and these same believers may become discouraged and sidetracked. We believe that a simple, clear, and urgent plan for discipleship in the life of a believer makes it possible for God to accomplish His purposes in your life.
We believe that growing disciples
:
Worship
Christ -- Passionately praising Him, adoring Him, pursuing Him & honoring Him.
Walk
with Christ -- Daily growing in relationship with Him.
Work
for Christ -- Willingly serving Him with our time, resources, and talents in the local church.
Witness
of Christ -- Boldly demonstrating and declaring our love for Him in the community.
A person pursuing Jesus Christ in these four areas will experience significant growth and therefore will experience a closer personal relationship with the Lord. This is what it means to "mature in Christ" and become a fully engaged disciple.
We strongly believe that multiplication of ministry is key to the healthy growth of the church.
We are committed to multiplying the godly characteristics of leaders' lives into others (2 Timothy 2:2). We believe that disciples of Jesus Christ should minister to one another in the local church, rather than one or a small number of professional pastors bearing total responsibility to care for the entire congregation. God has given spiritual gifts to all of His people to provide mutual ministry in the context of the healthy and strong local church (Ephesians 4:11-12)
