  • FAQ

    1. HOW DO I GET MY KIDS’ T-SHIRTS?
T-shirt can be picked up the weekend of June 17-18th outside the Worship Center. Once you have the shirt, please label your camper's shirt with first name ONLY in a sharpie marker. Label Adult Leader and Youth Camper Leader worker's shirts with Mr./Mrs./Miss and your name. All campers receive a t-shirt based on elective. You may purchase an additional High Five camper t-shirt during registration.

    2. HOW DOES LUNCH WORK?
Camper lunch is served in the Summit Hall. They eat by age and gender with plenty of water available. Campers bring their own lunch packed in a cooler lunch bag with their first and last name clearly marked. You may purchase a boxed lunch for $25/week. If your child needs to eat in an allergy-protected area, that information is noted at registration and check-in.

    3. HOW DO YOU CARE FOR MY CHILD WITH ALLERGIES?
Please note your child’s allergies when registering. All students specific allergies are reviewed by our camp nurse.  Every elective director for the elective your child is participating in is notified of your child’s allergies. We provide an allergy protected lunch area for your child as well. You must fill out a yellow card at check-in on Monday, and we keep your child’s lunch separated at a designated table.

    4. CAN I PICK UP MY CHILD EARLY?
We do not recommend early release or pick up. High Five is all day, except for MORNING ONLY pre-k campers (in the FLIGHT 1504 elective). Please schedule other camps, lessons, and doctors' appointments for a different week.  However, if essential for a camper to leave early, please there report to the check-out tables in the lobby before picking up your child. Since safety and security are top priorities, it is essential we check your child out accordingly.  Thanks in advance for helping in the process.

    5. DO YOU PRORATE THE COST FOR THE WEEK IF WE LEAVE EARLY?
We do not prorate the cost for the week for those who choose to leave High Five early.

    6. I NEED TO CONTACT STAFF DURING THE WEEK.
There will be a staffed administration counter in the Lobby, or you may call the church office at 720-398-9378 to reach us.

    7. WHAT IF MY CHILD LOSES SOMETHING OR NEEDS TO CHANGE THEIR CLOTHES?
Losing something is a normal occurrence at High Five. We have a lost-and-found table in the Lobby. However, we strongly suggest you send your child to High Five with nothing of value. They get dirty, and their clothes and shoes will never be the same. Many children need to change. We have custom-built outdoor changing tents that protect privacy, yet allow a child to change their dirty, wet clothes.

    8. WHERE DO I PARK FOR CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT?
All parking is in designated parking areas. Parking attendants will be directing you accordingly.   For 3:30pm check-out, you will pick-up your child from the Worship Center inside the building. Please keep your ID wristband and show it to your child's leader before taking your child.  Adhering to this safety standard may take a couple minutes after the conclusion of the last session each day, so please be patient.

    10. WHEN IS FINAL PAYMENT DUE?
Final payment is due June 2nd through an automatic charge to your original form of payment. If that is not possible, please contact Harvest Kids (720-398-9378) by May 30th to make other arrangements.

    11. HOW DO I CHANGE OR CANCEL A REGISTRATION?
You may request a change to your child’s registration by May 22 at no charge. After May 22, there is a $25 charge plus any additional fees if the new elective is more expensive. If the elective is less, no monies are refunded. You may cancel your registration by May 22 by emailing Harvest Kids (harvestkids@harvestdenver.org) for a full refund.  After May 22, we will refund your deposit less a $25 fee.

    12. HOW DO I MAKE A REQUEST FOR MY CHILD TO PARTICIPATE WITH A SPECIFIC FRIEND?
You choose two electives for your child to participate in, one for the morning (am) and one for the afternoon (pm). If they have a friend request, you must register your child for the same elective at the same time (am or pm) as their friend.

    13. WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD WEAR?
Your child should wear their High Five t-shirt, shorts and comfortable shoes. Everything gets dirty, stained and worn-out this week. Please do not send your child in anything you love. This is camp, and they play hard. Some electives will require a swim suit.  If that is the case we ask for girls to be in one piece suits or a tankini and boys in swim trucks (no speedos).
